Privacy policy
Draft — pending legal review. These policies are not binding yet and purchasing is closed. Highlighted items are details the seller still has to provide.
Version draft-v1 · Updated 2026-10-21In short
- We collect only what we need to run your account, orders and support.
- Passwords are stored hashed and two-step secrets encrypted; we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not read the contents of your server routinely.
1. Who is responsible
[legal seller name — to be completed before launch] (“NEX VPS”) decides how your personal data is used for this service. Contact: [official support email — to be completed before launch].
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you turn on two-step verification, its secret is stored encrypted.
- Orders and billing: what you ordered, prices, receipts and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
- Support: the messages and orders you attach to a ticket.
- Your servers: name, region, status and the actions taken on them.
- Technical records: request times and addresses (including IP addresses) kept for security, fraud and abuse prevention.
The content you put on your server belongs to you. We do not read it routinely; we may look at network and resource activity when investigating a report or a security problem.
3. Why we use it
- to create your account, set up and run your servers, and bill you
- to answer your support requests and send service messages (verification, receipts, notices)
- to keep the service secure and to prevent fraud and abuse
- to meet legal, tax and accounting duties
5. How long we keep it
We keep account data while you have an account. After a service ends, your server and its data are deleted after [data retention period (days) — to be completed before launch] days. We keep billing and audit records for as long as the law requires.
6. Security
We use measures such as hashed passwords, encrypted two-step secrets and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and turn on two-step verification.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to some uses. Write to [official support email — to be completed before launch]. We may need to keep some records to meet legal duties. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
9. Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will tell you about material changes by email or in your account.
